I’m Gary Winters…nice to “meet” you!
My passion is helping leaders in organizations be successful.
I work with “every day” leaders from all walks of life in all kinds of organizations. I don’t work with the folks like Jack Welsh or Donald Trump or Steve Jobs; I work with the Finance Director or the City Manager or the Engineering Manager, the project managers and team leaders, the General Manager and the first-line supervisor. I coach them on how to do what they do, better.
My hands-on experience with some pretty terrific, but largely “unfamous” leaders led me to write a book on decision making: To Do or Not To Do: How Successful Leaders Make Better Decisions. It’s packed with dozens of practical ideas that will make it easier for you to make great decisions with your team.
If you’re a leader out there in the trenches of an organization, first know this: leadership skills are learned.
